AlumniVillage - Free High School Alumni Community
What began as a simple website for planning my own 10 year high school reunion,
has grown and become a fully-fledged online community connecting high school
alumni throughout the United States.
AlumnVillage is actually two products in one. First and foremost it is a full featured social community. Secondly, it is a powerful tracking tool for reunion planners. They have access to advanced features like address reports, email lists, and more. Additionally, each school and class has volunteer "data-maintainers" who help keep all of the profiles up-to-date.
Unlike other Alumni sites, AlumniVillage is 100% free and 100% custom built. It has the social network features like buddylists, forums, comments, and more that tech savy users have come to expect, in addition to RSS feeds for integration into other social sites. It truely is a "village" powered by all of its users.
Deal Validator - Online/Mobile Price and Product Deal Checker
Ever come across, what appears to be a "deal" while shopping but you just are not sure it is?
This is where DealValidator helps! Rather than searching ebay, amazon, google, etc for comparative
prices manually, DealValidator does this automatically.
Simply enter a product (name, UPC, model number, etc) and its price. Deal Validator will automatically find the product, check its reviews and prices on online retailers, and its relative demand on ebay. Using this information it instantaniously computes a "deal score". The higher the score, the better the deal. If a product and price combination has a score of 75 of greater, it is considered an "Excellent Deal". If it scores between 50 and 74, it is simply a "Good Deal".
